Reading

I have found a new book that I think might go up on my favorites list.  I will reveal it as a comment on this post, because I want you all to pay attention to the following list of my favorite books before I recommend a new one:

  1. Harry Potter
  2. Ender's Game -Orson Scott Card
  3. Daughter of the Forest (I will rate this mature...) -Juliet Marillier (check spelling)
  4. Book of Mormon (number 1 in reality, but 4 is my favorite number, so I put it here)
  5. Around the Bend -Nicholas Sparks
  6. Dragon and Fat Cat (some children's picture book that is hilarious that my mother knows the exact title of, so look for her comment regarding this book)
  7. Callico Cow (another children's book)
  8. The Host -Stephanie Meyer
  9. Midnight Pearls -[I don't know the author]

the dragon books (yes, there are multiple ones!) are written by DAV PILKEY. we found out about them via tara & jakob. i do not find them as hilarious as you and jaycey...but will continue checking them out.

the hunger games trilogy (i'm BEYOND EAGERLY AWAITING the third one...) came to us via tamra. DON'T READ THEM OUT OF ORDER!!! sigh...i wish i had that third one right now. and ender's game isn't even on my top 20...but this book series...very very good.

to that end...and if you are reading my comment here, i will suggest one of my all-time favorites. 'Before the Dawn' by Dean Hughes...find it at your library or at deseret book...and read about it here: http://conniesramblings.blogspot.com/2008/10/before-dawn.html
