So you know the phrase drop a line?
I actually did that once. When I was little and not a great fisher, I was attempting my first cast (throwing my hook out into the lake), but I didn't do it right, and my spool went way to loose way to fast, and i had a lot of fishing line drooped around me and tangled in a mess. I would've cried at my complete uselessness if my uncles tim and jesse and my aunt jill weren't so kind to me.
moving on, i have a few thoughts:
i love murder mystery tv show characters, but i absolutely HATE how gruesome and disturbing those shows are. i wish they just weren't so graphic. my imagination is bad enough. i don't need those very detailed and realistic scenes replaying and developing in my head. but i figure it's good, because i'll be able to recognize the signs of a crazy person who might kill me, so it's got to be educational, right? (or as my cousin pointed out, it could teach me all of the ways people make mistakes when they murder people, so i won't make those types of mistakes when i commit a crime, if that's the pathway i'm inclined to take.) (don't worry, i'm not inclined to murder anyone.)
i found a job ad for stampin' up. they want someone with production experience and a degree in a communications field. does that sound perfect for me or what? i could videograph/edit for a scrapbooking company, and then i could keep my eyes out for a marketing/writing/editing position within that same company once i'm bored with multimedia, all the while getting discounts on my favorite creative hobby, or maybe i could graphically design the types of papers and stamps and accessories i wish i had. so it's kind of a dream job. i hope i get it, but if i don't, hobby lobby is hiring, so that's another craft heaven, even if the job would be very entry level.
all of you who trust my opinion on books, i found a great series from a dearest friend of mine. it's written with a style that fits adolescent novel genres, so it's an easy read. it's fantasy, but without trolls and giants and dragons--it just has magic and knights. the main character is a heroine, so it's refreshing perspective from all the male heroes in books like this. it's the "alanna" or "song of the lioness" series by tamora pierce. i think there are 4 books, and i'm on the 3rd one. i got these books in a temporary exchange for my copy of "daughter of the forest," my all-time favorite by juliet marillier (check spelling).
also...i've still got something going on with a man named jared. i don't like talking about it much because i discovered that i like to keep those types of things private, but i thought i should let you know, because this blog really is primarily for me to look back on, and if it doesn't all work out, i still want to remember jared.
and...um...i'm gonna try to post something on my other blog tomorrow. i want more followers, so if you are LDS, check it out. this is me begging you to consider another one of my blogs. if you don't want to, no foul. it's all good. but i did get ANOTHER FOLLOWER when i wasn't paying attention. I'm up to 37 now!! that means only 8 more! Thanks everyone!
i hope to write more soon. (oh, and i'm working on a new book. the background is all set out, with politics and everything. it's gonna be the SHIZ!)

Limited Access
Okay, so the good news is that an amazing friend found my exact computer cord for 1/4 of the price everywhere else.
the bad news? well, without getting into the finer details, i'm not going to order it until next week. at least i hope it is next week.
see, i need to take care of two more things with my car before i can do safety and inspections and get it registered...which is imperative if i want to get a job here pretty quick. so it's a good thing i am getting my deposit back from my previous apartment :) i just have limited computer access at the moment.
until i get everything situated, hold tight and maybe read the blogs of some of my AMAZING followers. my mom loves comments, chester the bester always has something great to say, amy has an amazingly creative blogging genre, and everyone who follows me seems to have more of a life than i do at the moment, so i'm sure they'd entertain you better than me. :)

That's Right!
So I have a few major goals in my life.
One was to get my Associate's degree during high school. that was a hard goal to meet, but it was worth it.
Another was to not die while I am living away from home. Seeing as how I'm blogging right now, I feel safe in the assumption that I haven't died in the past three years. So, I'd say I've met that goal.
Today, I met the last requirement for my Bachelor's degree. I just finished my last final. That's right! I am DONE with my undergraduate education.
Now, I just have to finish packing, clean my apartment, get a new battery for my car, and get a permit to move my car to a new location.
Want to know something exciting about this move?
I'm staying in Utah! Good ol' home state where I belong. Small towns, cities, and the outdoors. What a great mix of environments we have here.
Also, my computer cord is broken. It will cost at least $70 to replace, so I might not blog often even though I won't be in school. But I'll be back ASAP, because I love rambling about my life, and I hope you enjoy reading about it.
*Note: Whilst my studying marathon this morning in the computer lab, and old bald man kept sneezing so often that his sneezes overlapped. Not joking. He kept sneezing during sneezes. I didn't know you could interrupt a sneeze with a sneeze, but this man proved me wrong. Although it was annoying because I was trying to focus, I appreciated the distraction. It made me realize that some things that I think are impossible actually happen. More proof that most things are possible (not everything--i'm not that optimistic).
